Oh, magnificent beast
Molded by a divine hand
Where does an admirer like me
Begin to praise your beauty?
Galloping across the endless horizon
On a narrow strip of beach
Sunlight illuminating your velvet skin
I feast my delighted eyes
Splashing over the blue water
Feet moving in succession
Clear droplets spray on either side
And your hooves leave their mark
Moving swiftly in the breeze
Each muscle fashioned to perfection
The echo of freedom encompasses you
As your silhouette imprints in my mind
Note: I love horses and wrote this poem when I was 21 with Black Beauty in mind.
